We are pleased to confirm the purchase and, therefore, the future of Ashdon’s last public house:
The Rose & Crown.
We’re sure you’ve all the noticed the scaffolding, and we’re very pleased to be starting work on the renovation of the Rose & Crown.
Starting from the top, we are cleaning and repairing the roof with external decorating about to commence. Electrical checks and remedial work is going on inside as some of you have noticed.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the scaffolding or the noise while we work on the pub, but we won’t be causing any disruption that’s isn’t deemed necessary as part of our sympathetic refurbishment.
Slow progress, but we will get there.
Yours faithfully
